Small Account Challenge Part 2 50$. How to trade small account Forex FAST Trading Strategy and Indicator to grow a Small Trading Account Fast and Easy

So, What happened to the Small Trading Account challenge? Did I blow up my account, Did I lose money, or did I make a lot of money? If you have been following this channel for a while, you know Last week I started a Small Trading account challenge. I started this challenge with not 10000 dollars, not 500, but only 50 dollars. I started this challenge on last Monday, and said I will do a weekly update video on the profit gains. It’s been a week, so it’s time to reveal if I lost money or was i able to make money.

On the First day of the week, you saw I was able to make 7 and half percent profit gain in a single day. Which was a good return on investment. But you should also note that I was trading on a 1 minute time frame. Since i was trading on a 1 minute time frame, I was able to take many trades in a small amount of time. Trading on a shorter time frame grew the small account by 7 and half percent. If I was trading on a bigger time frame, I would have not able to take trades more frequently, to make a good profit in one or few days.

Before, I show the profit of next few days, I just want to say, that I am going to release The official trading rush app in the following week. This App will help you and me, to back test any trading strategy easily. I won’t go into details now, but wanted to mention this, because I was Developing this App the entire week.

I said I was going to take most of the trades on 1 minute time frame to get more opportunities, But I did not get enough time to analyse and take trades on 1 minute time frame. So instead of taking all the trades on 1 minute, I took most of the trades on 15 minutes and 5 minutes time frames. I was developing the Trading Rush App on my main monitor, and was trading this small account on my second monitor.

So, after Monday , I directly took trades on Thursday. No trades on Tuesday, no trades on Wednesday, took trade directly on Thursday.

The first trade I took on Thursday, turned out to be a winner. It was on AUD JPY. Actually, I took another trade before this. It was a mistake really. I made an input error. Instead of deleting 1, and typing 2. I forgot to delete 1, and typed 2. I cancelled this trade as soon as I noticed the error. But i did make a small profit. I am not writing this profit in my excel sheet of course.

So, the AUD JPY trade i took, was on 15 minutes time frame. I drew some strong support and resistance, using the daily, 4 hours, 1 hours, and 30 minutes time frames. Then on 15 minutes, I saw the Price was at a strong resistance. Furthermore, MACD is also showing a crossover.

I wanted to go short on this pair. And I wanted my stop loss, somewhere above the resistance lines. So i used the ATR indicator to set my stop loss at the right place.

There you go. In this small account challenge, we did not blew up the account, and we did what many traders fail to do, Make money in trading.

I will keep trading on this small account, and will post the new results in the next week. I’m not sure, if I will keep taking trades on 15 minutes, or if i will switch to 1 minute, since I still have to publish the Official Trading Rush App later this week. We will see that in the next Small Trading Account challenge video.

ATR or Average True Range, is one of the most useful Indicator out there. It is easy to use, that even your dog can trade using ATR and become a millionaire. Average True Range is loved by many professional traders so much, because it solves one of the biggest problems in Trading Forex and Stocks. ATR indicator, is used to set the stop loss properly. Something that many new traders struggle with. If you are good at predicting direction of a Stock, there is a high chance of losing money, if you don’t set your stop loss properly. If you don’t set your stop loss and profit target at the right place, Price can hit your stop loss first, and then go in your desired direction.

Unlike most indicators that are easy to understand, but are difficult to use. Average true range, is always easy to understand, and easy to use on all time frames.

The ATR stop loss strategy is simple. I have also used this strategy in my 50 dollars small account challenge series, to set the stop loss at the right place. I will show the trade that I am currently In, after we understand how to use this indicator properly.

Here’s how the ATR indicator looks like on trading view. It will come with one line. By default, this indicator will come with the ATR length value of 14. I recommend using the default settings, as most traders will. What we are looking for on this indicator, is the ATR value when we are about to enter a trade. We are not looking for an up trending or down trending ATR line. We only want this value.

Like the name says, this indicator will show the True Average Value of a Stock or Forex Pair. On this chart, and by default, it is showing the average of last 14 candles. This information is very useful to avoid your stop loss getting hit, before price finally decides to move in your favor.

Lets look at an example. Lets say, you wanted to sell a forex pair. Maybe it is at a strong resistance, so you want to go short. Lets say this line is the resistance line. If you set your stop loss just above the resistance line, there is a high chance that your stop loss will get hit, Because there is not enough room for price to wiggle around, before going in your direction. If you set your stop loss too far from your entry, you will not get a good risk to reward ratio, and that’s not good.

By adding ATR value to the stop loss, you are taking average range of the last 14 candles into consideration. In other words, you are taking volatility into consideration. If the last 14 candles were big, the ATR value will be high. It means, market is volatile and bigger candles can form, therefore, we should not set our stop loss close to our entry. Similarly, If the last 14 candles were small, the ATR value will be low. It means, market is not that volatile and there is a low probability of a big candle appearing, therefore, we can set our stop loss close to our entry.

That’s all there is to it. Here’s what happened to the trade we took as an example in this video. Our Technical analysis was spot on.

Small Account Challenge Part 1 50$. How to trade small account Forex FAST Trading Strategy and Indicator to grow a Small Trading Account Fast and Easy

Can i make money using just 50 dollars? How long will it take to turn 50 dollars into 100 dollars, or maybe even more? Is trading with 50 dollars even possible? Well well well. Starting today, I’m starting a new series on this channel, the small account challenge series. You might have seen some traders on youtube, do similar thing, where they turn a very small amount into a big one.

I’m starting this challenge, with not 1000 dollars, not 500, but only 50 dollars. On this Trading Rush channel, we have tested many different strategies 100 times, to show their real win rate, because no one wants to risk their money on a strategy that doesn’t even work. The goal of this 50 dollars challenge series, not only will be to entertain new traders, but also educate and try to show how many losing trades you can expect in a profitable trading strategy. This series will also try to show the importance of money management and trading psychology.

We will try to set realistic goals, and we will try not to blow up our accounts. We will try to do what 90 percent of trades can’t do. Make money in Trading.

Also, in this 50 dollars challenge series, when i talk about my profit, try to focus on the percentage gain, and not the amount in dollars. Since, I’m starting with only 50, 5 dollars gain, will be a 10 percent profit. 10 percent profit in 1 or few days, is really good. Mutual funds only give around 15 percent profit in an entire year.

so lets see what trades I took using 50 dollars as my starting balance. I started this challenge on Monday. I was only using strategies that We have tested 100 times on this channel. In the first few hours of the challenge, I was trading on 15 min time frame, and was using the MACD strategy. Since we tested that strategy 100 times, and saw it’s real win rate, I was aiming for a win rate of 50 to 55 percent. MACD strategy is one of the best trading strategy out there, so I was hoping to easily get 50 percent win rate. With risk to reward of 1 point 5 to 1, I should be able to make money. And with maximum risk of 2 percent per trade of course.

On 15 min time frame, I won the first trade. But then lost 10 trades in a row. Not one, not 5, but 10 in a row.
This was not really the fault of the MACD strategy. It was my fault. I made a mistake of trading on this small account, like my bigger account. I made the mistake of taking 10 trades on similar Forex pairs, at the same time. Since Forex pairs are related to each other, most of them move in the same direction. For example, if AUD JPY is going down, AUD USD will most likely go down.
When i took 10 trades at the same time, two things could have happened. I could have won most of the 10 trades, or could have lost most of the 10 trades. In this case, I lost.

Then, to recover this loss, I switched from 15 min to 1 min time frame. By switching to a smaller time frame, I can increase the frequency of the trades. In other words, I can take more trades in a shorter amount of time. It was necessary to recover the loss quickly, since i can’t risk more than 2 percent of my account on a single trade. If I risk anything more than 2 percent on a trade, I will have a higher chance of blowing up my small account. And that will be a shame.

Since I was only using one strategy, most of my trades looked very similar. Here’ are some screenshots I took after entering the trades.

I will do a weekly update video of this 50 dollars challenge, and will show you how much money I made in a week, using this 50 dollars. Yes you heard it right. testing 100 times takes time, and will most likely prove, if you should risk your hard earned money, using this strategy! This video will be very similar to the RSI and MACD video i made a while ago. If you want to know if those strategy work after testing 100 times? Check those videos out. On trading view, The Moving Average crossover strategy will look something like this. I know, one of the Simplest strategy out there. I have already made a video on the basics. If you have never heard about this moving average crossover strategy, check out my previous video where i explain this strategy in detail. If you remember, In my last video, we modified this moving average crossover strategy, to filter false signals. To filter false signals, we will use the 200 period exponential moving average. You can use SMA too if you want. We will use this 200 period moving average to find the direction of the long term trend. Remember, trend is your friend. Always take trade in the direction of the trend, especially if you are new. If the price is above the 200 period moving average, we will only look to buy. And if price is below the 200 period moving average, we will only look to sell. So, here’s how our modified Moving average crossover strategy goes. When price is above the 200 period moving average, and we see the 9 period moving average, crossing above the 21 period moving average, we will buy as soon as the crossover happens. Similarly, when the price is below the 200 period moving average, and we see the 9 period moving average, crossing below the 21 period moving average, we will sell as soon as the crossover happens. Also, In the last video, I said not to take trades when the entry is too far from the moving average crossover. During the back testing, I found 2 to 3 trade setups, that had entry signals far way from the crossover. So i skipped them. So, the question is. If you enter trades using Moving average indicator, will you become a profitable trader? In the next few minutes, i will show you how the profit graph looks like after taking 100 trades, and how much is the real winning percentage of the Moving average crossover strategy, and how many losers you can expect in a row. I will fast forward the next clip to save your time. The following clip can help you understand, how this strategy looks in different market conditions, so do watch carefully. For back testing, i have used Euro JPY chart. This strategy works on any time frame, and also works on both Forex, and stock markets. Here, I’m using 30 minutes time frame. I’m also taking sell setup in this example. Strategy for sell setup is very similar to buy setup. Can moving average crossover strategy make you a profitable trader? How to trade it and make more money? What moving average strategy is the right one? How to use this average indicator properly without blowing up our accounts? Lets find out.

Moving Average is one of the oldest and most powerful indicator ever made. Not just because its simplicity, but it actually shows you average price of a stock, and even shows the direction of the trend. You might have seen some business news channels get excited when price crosses the 200 period moving average, Because it can indicate a start of a new trend.
But like i said in my Ichimoku indicator video, the indicator that are easy to understand, can be difficult when it comes to executing trades with it. If stock and forex trading was easy, everyone would have been a millionaire.

The moving average crossover strategy is simple, but there are few challenges you may encounter when executing trades with it. Lets see what are they, and how to avoid them, once we actually understand, how to use the moving average crossover strategy properly. Like always, In my next video, I will test this strategy 100 times, to find its real win rate. I’ve already tested many other indicators 100 times, to show their real win rates. After all, you don’t want to risk your money on something that doesn’t even work.

There are multiple ways to set the stop loss in this strategy. Once you enter a long trade, You can set the stop loss, below the Swing low. Or set it just below the Crossover of these moving averages. Remember to give the price, enough room to wiggle around, otherwise your stop loss can get hit. In a long setup, If you set your stop loss below the swing low, there is low probability of price hitting your stop loss.

Okay! Now lets talk about the profit target. Something every trader loves. But where should we set our profit target in this moving average strategy? Just like the stop loss, there are different ways to set profit targets. Some use a fixed target. For example, some will set their profit target 2 times more than the risk. This way, they will only take 200 percent profit. Nothing more, nothing less. This is a good strategy to get consistent profit.

On the other hand, some will take profit, and exit the trade, when another moving average crossover is generated. This way, they have a chance to stay in a long trend for a long time. This strategy can generate great risk to reward ratio, but market doesn’t make big moves every-time. These both methods have their advantages and disadvantages. It really comes down to the traders personality. If you can stare at the screen for a long time, and keep adjusting your trade, go with the second method. If you cannot stare at the screen and see your profit loss changing, go with the first method. That way you don’t have to sit to adjust the trade. Just set your stop loss and profit target, and go for a walk, or maybe look for another trade. Just remember to cancel your stop loss, when your profit target order hits, and vice versa.

That’s all there is to it.

In this video i will back-test 100 times, a very famous trading strategy called the CCI strategy. Yes you heard it right. testing 100 times takes time, and will most likely prove, if you should risk your hard earned money, using this strategy! This video will be very similar to the RSI and MACD video i made a while ago. If you want to know if those strategy works after testing 100 times? Check that video out.

For those who are new to trading, this is what CCI indicator looks like. On first look, it looks like the RSI indicator, but it is very different.
On trading view, The CCI indicator will come with an orange line, called the CCI line. And two horizontal lines, called the Upper band, and the lower band.

I have already made a video on the basics. If you have never heard about this indicator, check out my previous video where i explain this indicator in detail. If you remember, in my last CCI video, I was strongly against of using the CCI indicator alone, to enter trades. And I still don’t recommend it. You will see why, at the end of the video. I only recommend to use it with some other indicator that you know works.

Like i said in my previous CCI video, there are two kinds of traders that use the CCI indicator in very different ways. Also, in my last video, i show two different methods to use this indicator. In this video, I’m going to use the second method, the method that most people use.

In this method, When the CCI line, crosses below the upper band, the market was considered to be over bought, and we should look to sell.

Similarly, when the CCI line crosses above the lower band, the market was considered to be over sold, and we should look to buy.

In the next few minutes, i will show you how the profit graph looks like after taking 100 trades, and how much is the real winning percentage of the CCI strategy, and how many losers you can expect in a row. I will fast forward the next clip to save your time. The following clip can help you understand, how this strategy looks in different market conditions, so do watch carefully.

It took me around 1 hour to back test 100 trades, and while testing, some trades almost came close to hitting the stop loss, before going back and hitting profit targets. Don’t panic when market is very close to hitting your stop loss. Losing is part of trading. Whole point of making this video, was to show you the number of losers, you can have in a strategy. No strategy works 100 percent of time. Even professional traders use strategies, that only work 60 to 65 percent of time. As i always say, The key to make money is money management, and trading psychology! Master that, and you can become a professional.

Why is the CCI indicator so different? Some people use it to find over-bought and over-sold zones, and some use it to find direction of a new trend. What method is the right one? How to use the CCI indicator properly without blowing up our accounts? Lets find out.

CCI is one of the popular and best indicator out there, It can even increase the win rate of your strategy if you use it properly. But that’s the problem. There are two different trading strategies based on this one indicator. When Donald Lambert created the CCI indicator in 1980, he used it to find strong trends in the commodity market. Hence the name, Commodity Channel Index. But since the creation of the CCI indicator, market has changed. Traders have adapted this indicator to use on all kinds of markets and all time frames.

Now, there are two kinds of traders that use the CCI indicator in very different ways.
Some, still use it to find the strong trend. And some use it to find the reversals.

In this video, we are going to take a look at both of these methods. As always, I will also test the CCI indicator 100 times, to find its real win rate, and to make sure it works. But i will do it in a separate video. SUBSCRIBE to see it. I have already tested MACD, RSI, and other indicators 100 times, to find their real win rate. Check those videos out if you want. After all, you don’t want to risk your money on a strategy that doesn’t even work.

This is how the CCI indicator looks like. On first look, it looks like the RSI indicator, but it is very different.
On trading view, The CCI indicator will come with an orange line, called the CCI line. And two horizontal lines, called the Upper band, and the lower band.

The two trading strategy based on this indicator are really simple. Lets start with the first method.

This is the method that Donald Lambert, the creator of this indicator used.

When the CCI line, crosses above the positive 100 line, in other words, the upper band. It can indicate the start of a strong uptrend.
And if the CCI line, crosses below the Negative 100 line, in other words the lower band. It can indicate the start of a strong downtrend.

In simple words, CCI line crossing above the upper band, is a buy signal. And CCI line crossing below the lower band, is a sell signal.

Here’s an example.

As you can see, when the CCI went above the upper line, the market gained momentum, and a strong uptrend took place.

Similarly, When the CCI line crossed below the lower band, the market started a strong down trend.

You can enter trades, as soon as the CCI crosses above or below the bands. But you will get a lot of false signals, if you use the CCI indicator only. Use it with something else.

This method is best used in a trending market. And if you have been following this channel for a while, You know, to find the direction of the long term trend, we use the 200 moving average.
If price is above the moving average, we will only look to buy. This will help us avoid false sell signals. Similarly, if price is below the 200 moving average, we will only take sell signals. This will help us avoid false buy signals given by the CCI indicator.
So our modified CCI trend trading strategy, goes something like this.

We will buy, when CCI crosses above the upper band, and price is still above the 200 E M A. And we will sell, when CCI crosses below the lower band, and price is still below the 200 moving average.

For those who are new to trading, this is what bollinger bands indicator looks like. By default bollinger bands will come with a moving average in the middle, and two bands around it, called the upper band and the lower band. In simple words, this is what bollinger bands mean. If you plot this indicator on a trading chart, the middle line will indicate the average price of the stock, and price will most likely stay inside the bollinger bands.
Strategy to take trade using this indicator is really simple. If the price crosses the upper bollinger band, the market is considered as over extended, and we should look to sell, since the price can move towards the average line.

So, the question is. If you enter trades using bollinger bands indicator, will you become a profitable trader?

In the next few minutes, i will show you how the profit graph looks like after taking 100 trades, and how much is the real winning percentage of the bollinger bands strategy, and how many losers you can expect in a row. I will fast forward the next clip to save your time. The following clip can help you understand, how this strategy looks in different market conditions, so do watch carefully.

For back testing, i have used Euro JPY chart. This strategy works on any time frame, and also works on both forex, and stock markets. Here, I’m using 30 minutes time frame. I’m also taking sell setup in this example. Strategy for sell setup is very similar to buy setup. Sell setup is just opposite of buy setup.
You can see how the win rate and profit graph changes, as i take more trades. The real win rate will be revealed when we reach 100 trades or more. There are different ways to set profit targets. Here in this example, profit target was set 1.5 times more, than the risk i was taking. You should always take profit, more than the risk you are willing the take!

As you can see on the left, for back testing, i’m using 10000, as my starting balance. Also, I’m only risking 1 percent of my account balance, on a single trade. You should only risk 1 to 2 percent of your account, on a single trade. Otherwise it will be difficult to handle losing trades, that will come in a row. Money management is the key to success in this business! In this example. When i lose, i only lose 100. But when i win, i win 150. So, even if i lose one and win one, i will still make money.
Some strategies work on intra day only and some work better on daily time frame. This strategy however, works on all time frames.

That’s all. Now you know the win rate of the bollinger band strategy. Remember, I took trades based on Bollinger bands and 200 period Moving average. If you use different setup, your win rate may be different than this.
