For Example: If the Entry Timeframe is 30min and you want to take a Long Trade, then make sure 30min, 1h, 2h, and 4h are all showing an Uptrend on the Trend Finder Tool. If you want to take a Short Trade, then make sure the Entry and Higher Timeframes are showing a Downtrend. That’s How I Use It!
First, select your entry timeframe. Let’s say your entry timeframe is 30min. Then look at the trend direction of the entry timeframe and the trend direction of 3-4 higher timeframes. And make sure the price on the entry and multiple higher timeframes is trending in the same direction.
For example, if the entry timeframe is 30min, we will look at the trend direction of the 30min and the trend direction of higher timeframes: 1h, 2h, 4h. All of them should be trending in the same direction.
If the entry timeframe is 4h, then look at the trend direction of the 4h entry timeframe and the trend direction of higher timeframes: 1D, 1W. All timeframes should trend in the same direction.
If the entry and higher timeframes show different trend directions, it is better to avoid taking the trade.
Since the price has a higher probability of moving in the direction of the higher timeframe trend, Trading and Filtering Charts like this increased the quality of the trades and gave a higher win rate in the long run. Watch Trend Finder Tool Video: VIEW (show_none)
